Privacy Policy — RetinaSketch Pro

Summary

RetinaSketch Pro does not collect any data. The app makes no network requests, contains no analytics or advertising code, and requires no account. Everything you enter stays on your device.

Information we collect

None. We do not collect, transmit, receive, or store any information about you or your patients on any server, whether operated by us or by a third party. The app contains no analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash-reporting technologies of any kind.

Information stored on your device

Any information you enter — including patient names, medical record numbers, sketches, clinical notes, and generated reports — is stored only on your device, using Apple's standard local storage frameworks. This information never leaves your device unless you personally choose to export or share a PDF using the iOS share sheet, at which point you alone control the destination.

Deleting the app removes this locally stored information from your device.

In-app purchases

RetinaSketch Pro offers a single one-time, non-consumable purchase that unlocks unlimited sketches and PDF exports. This transaction is processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We never receive or store your payment details. Apple's handling of that transaction is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Third-party content

The Learn section includes clinical photographs reproduced from open-access research articles under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence, with the original author, journal, DOI, and PMID credited alongside each image. These images are bundled inside the app, not loaded from the internet, so viewing them sends no request and reveals nothing about you to any third party.

The app contains a small number of links to external websites. Opening one leaves the app and loads that page in your browser, where that site's own privacy policy applies.

Children

RetinaSketch Pro is a professional tool intended for ophthalmologists and eye care specialists. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Medical disclaimer

RetinaSketch Pro is intended for education and clinical documentation support by qualified eye care professionals. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or clinical guidance, and it is not intended for use by patients. All output must be independently reviewed and verified by a qualified specialist before informing any clinical decision.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app changes what data it handles, this policy and the app's App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before that version is released.
